Welcome to the world of stained glass! In this immersive 4-hour Crash Course you will craft a stained glass suncatcher of your choice, from several design options (if you have something specific in mind please email me after booking and we will try my hardest to make it work!) .

This class is perfect for those with no glass experience or those who need a refresher, this hands-on workshop covers the essentials of glass cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering. Yes, it really only takes 4 hours to learn the basics of stained glass!

• Time: 10am-2pm, varies between Saturday and Sunday availability! Classes subject to cancellation if no bookings in advance.

Skills Learnt:

1. Glass Scoring and Breaking: Begin by understanding how to score and break glass – a fundamental skill in stained glass creation. Learn the techniques to precisely score and break glass to shape, setting the foundation for your artwork.
2. Grinding for Smooth Finish: Use an electrical grinder to grind the edges of the glass smooth.
3. Foil Application: Dive into the practicalities of foiling, a critical step in the stained glass process. Master the application of applying foil to the edges of the glass pieces, setting the stage for the next step in creating a cohesive and durable piece.
4. Soldering Techniques: Learn soldering as you bring your foiled glass pieces together. Learn the art of creating strong seams that connect all the foiled glass pieces together.
