Extra Info and Safety:

  • Proper glass safety and PPE will be covered and provided as this is essential when working with glass. Respirators, safety glasses, gloves, fume extractors, and heavy metal hand soap is used in this studio, we take our safety seriously.
  • We do use a tin lead solder in the class as this is the preferential solder for its flow and heat properties, if you would like your child to work with lead free solder, there will be an additional $15 charge as it is significantly more expensive.
  • During multiple times of the class we require the students wash their hands with a soap that removes any contaminants, solder particles or chemical residue if spilled and to prevent spread.
  • There will be a minimum of 1 teachers per class of 6 teens at any time ensuring we have ample support for your child and can answer and support any and all questions.
  • We will use stools at a workbench, if you require a lower table and chair, please let me know before class so I can make accomodations!

Please let me know if any other questions :)
